The remodel transformed an outdated enclosed front porch into a comfortable, four-season living area; removing a bank of windows to provide a pass-through, which required a custom steel support beam. Front entrance included custom built side lights featuring stained glass installed into a double pane glass pack. Historic architectural details were accommodated and custom historic matched casing and baseboards. The project included insulating the floor, ceiling and walls, replacing outdated windows with energy-efficient double-pane units and installing radiant heat flooring. This upgrade boosts home value and extends usable living space.
